Has your meat ever been recalled or found to be unsafe to eat?
We have exported Wagyu to many countries and never had any issues with our meat being recalled or posed a threat to consumer health. We have exported Wagyu to six countries and distributed it to more than twenty-five countries all over the world. We have never had any issues with our meat being recalled or posed a threat to consumer health.
Is the Wagyu listed on this Retail Store shipped directly from Japan?
We can only ship directly from Japan to customers with an import license. Therefore our partners in the United States import the Wagyu, portion them into retail cuts, and then ship the cuts you purchase directly to your home. How long can I store your products?
All of our products are vacuum-sealed. The shipping company we work with, FEDEX, guarantees a temperature-controlled delivery of up to 72 hours. We advise storing our products in a refrigerator up to 10 days after receiving the products. We suggest defrosting the meat in the refrigerator for 1-2 days, to avoid a fast temperature change.
How long will it take for me to receive my order?
We take 2-5 days to process an order, depending on the availability. For orders delivered in California, we use Overnight Shipping. For orders in other states, we use FedEx 2 day shipping. However, in case there are any delays in the freight, we please ask to contact the freight company.

ORDER
What payment options do you accept?
We accept payments via all major credit cards, such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept Google Payments and Apple Pay, all via Shopify Payments. Shopify Payments provides fraud protection for you by screening orders for potential fraud before realizing the transaction. To avoid delays in order processing, please ensure that your billing address matches your payment method. When you use Shopify Payments to pay with a credit card, we do not see your card information, including your card number.
How do I purchase Wagyu from Humans of Wagyu?
Our Humans of Wagyu Premium Selection is available in only certain countries. On this website, only customers in the United States of America can purchase from us. Please refer to the question below for more information on which countries we can export to.
Whom do I contact if I have an issue with my order?
You can contact us directly on Instagram or via the email orders@humansofwagyu.com. You can also check your order's delivery status via the FEDEX Tracking number provided once you place the order.
IMPORT FROM JAPAN
I have an import license. Can I import directly from Japan?
In case you have an import license and are located in one of the countries we can export to, we'd be more than happy to discuss more with you. Our company has been exporting Wagyu to customers in many countries across the globe and will be delighted to find solutions for you and your company. .
What is the minimum order quantity to import directly from Japan?
We work with a lot of different slaughterhouses and supply to different countries. Some slaughterhouses offer the minimum order quantity of 40kg, which is the Loin Set (Sirloin and Ribeye.) However, others require customers to import a Half or Full Set, which comprises of the following parts: Ribeye, Striploin, Tenderloin, Chuck Roll, Brisket, Chuck Rib, Shoulder Clod, Plate Set, Round Set, and Shank. Reach out to our team, and we will provide you with solutions specifically for what your company is looking for.
Can I get a sample before importing from Japan?
The smallest quantity we sell in our retail store is 16 ounces, which is available in our online store for certain countries only. For countries not listed in our online store, the minimum order quantity varies depending on the brand you are looking to work with. Please reach out to our team and we will guide you.
